Sliding doors are all we do

Meet the Atlanta team that treats a stuck patio door as a problem worth solving properly — not a reason to sell you a new one.

Sliding Door Repair Atlanta is a specialist trade shop. We don't do everything under the sun — we fix, adjust, and replace the parts that make sliding doors and windows work. That narrow focus is the whole point: it's why we usually finish in one visit and why we can tell you honestly whether a door needs a small repair or a full replacement.

Why specialists fix doors faster

A general handyman sees a sliding door a few times a year. We see them every day. We know which rollers fit the aluminum-frame sliders in a Buckhead high-rise, the vinyl patio doors in a Marietta subdivision, and the heavy multi-panel glass walls going into new Atlanta builds. Because sliding doors are all we do, our vans carry the rollers, track, locks, and glass hardware to match — so "we'll have to order the part" happens far less often.

Specialized knowledge

Beyond standard roller and track replacement

Since 2005, our team has developed specialized knowledge of the different sliding door systems found throughout Atlanta — older doors, modern systems, imported doors, oversized glass panels, multi-panel doors, and commercial sliding entrances. Three areas set our work apart.

Expertise 01

Sliding door lock specialists

Sliding door locks take a different level of knowledge than standard door hardware. Depending on the manufacturer and age of the door, the locking system may include a mortise lock, a hook-style mechanism, a multi-point lock, a keyed handle, an internal latch, or a commercial electronic component.

Our technicians evaluate the complete locking system — the lock body, handle, keeper, alignment, frame, and door position. In many cases a lock looks broken when the real problem is that the door has dropped, shifted, or fallen out of alignment. Instead of swapping parts without finding the cause, we determine why the door is not locking correctly, then repair, adjust, rebuild, or replace only what's needed to restore secure, reliable operation. When you need it, we also handle sliding door lock repair and full security upgrades.

Expertise 02

Custom-made parts for difficult door systems

Many sliding doors in Atlanta use parts that are discontinued, outdated, or simply not available in standard sizes. Replacing the whole door shouldn't be the first answer just because an original component can't be found.

When an appropriate replacement isn't available, our team can fabricate or modify selected components to fit the existing door — depending on the door's condition and design, that may include custom track pieces, guides, brackets, spacers, adapters, and retainers through our custom parts fabrication work. Every custom component is measured and fitted to the individual door, which lets us save many unusual or older systems that other companies would immediately tell you to replace.

We don't claim every part can be made. Custom fabrication happens only when it's technically appropriate for your specific door — based on its measurements, construction, and condition.

Expertise 03

Custom track repair and fabrication

A damaged track isn't always solved by dropping a generic cover over it. Tracks vary in width, height, shape, material, and configuration — some are built into the frame, others are part of a larger multi-panel or commercial system. We inspect the existing track, frame, rollers, and the weight of the door before recommending a solution.

When standard components aren't suitable, we can create or adapt track parts to match the existing system through custom track fabrication, alongside conventional track repair and roller replacement. The goal is a stable, properly aligned running surface that supports the door and lets the rollers move smoothly — which matters most on older doors, heavy glass panels, multi-panel systems, and tracks whose parts are no longer manufactured.

Repair-first, always

Repair solutions built around the door

We don't force every sliding door into the same repair package. Each system is evaluated on its construction, condition, available parts, security needs, and daily use. Our mix of local experience, lock expertise, custom fabrication, and repair-first thinking lets us solve problems that don't have an off-the-shelf answer — keeping your existing system whenever it's practical and saving you from an unnecessary full replacement.

Residential and commercial across metro Atlanta

We work on single and multi-panel patio sliders, pocket and closet doors, screen doors, windows, and commercial storefront and automatic door systems — for homes and businesses across the metro, available 24/7 because a door that won't lock can't wait until Monday. We'll always quote the repair first and only recommend a full installation when the frame is cracked, the sealed glass unit has failed, or the door is genuinely past saving.

Our promise on every job: you slide the door yourself before we leave. If it doesn't move the way it did when it was new, we're not done.
